The last two weeks of my life have been literally going 10o miles an hour. I worked definite overtime and then just like that it was the night before my flight. Which on one hand I was like praiseeee finally (!!!) And then on the other I was like omg I have to pack for two weeks and that usually takes me a week by itself because I hate packing. You get me. So I packed until 1am, woke up at 3am, hopped on my first flight to DC and then my second straight to San Diego. So HERE I AM. With my mom and sisters who were waiting for me here. Sitting out on a beautiful porch with the sunshine and the most perfect weather you could imagine. Finally a bit rested considering I got 13 hours of sleep last night. That's right people. How do you deal with jet lag you ask? Don't sleep for two weeks, so by the time you get to where you're going it doesn't matter you'll just sleep whenever and however long you can. Done.
Ok but back to the good stuff. San Diego, in the first few hours I've really seen, are just what you'd hope. We're on the beach and I keep hoping Lauren and Stephen and Kristin are going to pop out somewhere ((I know, I know, we're not in Laguna but it's a California beach and that's just my secret wish ok?)). So happy Thursday! And s/o to all those at work today, you can make it, tomorrow is Fridayyyyy.
