Our stay at The Graduate, Richmond
Welcome to the Graduate Richmond, friends! Created for travelers who seek memory-making journeys, as they put it. And those kinds of slogans are going to get me from the start.
Are we even trendy enough to be staying here? Probably not. But as the pre-teen standing next to me in the lobby said, “This place is going to make my VSCO game so strong.” Yes it is little Belieber, yes it is.
We blew up Insta-stories all weekend, and may or may not have geeked out over things like our room keys or the fact that the shampoo and conditioner bottles were full-size pumps that smelled like an Aveda Salon. It’s the little things you know?
We first stepped foot into a Graduate hotel on our day trip to Oxford, MS. And I told C, “If we ever come back here THIS is where we are staying,” as I was googly-eyed over the pink floors. And the best news of the year was finding out there are Graduates popping up all over you guys (find one close to you HERE).
The rooftop pool and restaurant weren’t quite open yet, but with our friends living in the city we’re already making plans to head back in the warmer weather to soak up the new additions.
It’s an experience. Not just a place to get a quick night sleep (however if that’s the case I’m telling you those down pillows are everythingggg). C and I were wandering the corridors, picking out the local details, and in no hurry to leave the Brookfield Cafe (note to my foodie people: the chicken sandwich has TWO slices of homestyle fried chicken. I know).
You guys know me. And you know you can trust me when I say this is the real deal. It’s the place you and your friends go grab dinner at even if you’re not staying the night. Or the place you and your girls book for a girl’s weekend (I’m looking at you my #thrivetribe). SO. Take my word for it, and explore your heart’s content out here:
Love you all. Mean it.
