All about that brow
In no way am I a brow expert. I mean, I've been on a continuous brow journey for the past two years. Grow them out, get them shaped; repeat. It wasn't until I got this perf little kit for Christmas ((s/o to Mama Kate)), that I felt I was about 2/3 to fleek. Not off, but not totally on yet, if you get me?
Well, this weekend we were snowed in... again. And at some point during our hibernation, the roomies and I were discussing eyebrows/products. Which led to me pulling out my stencils and taking turns filling in their eyebrows. I know! Living in an apartment with friends is just the most fun thing ever. Anyways, here's a brief overview of the products I've felt most helped my brow game improve *insert the O.K. hand emoji.*
Anastasia Brow Kit: I wanted this mostly for the stencils, since I was having trouble knowing how to specifically shape my brows. I'm obsessed! And I've gotten the hang of using the powder and brush now, which actually makes for much more precise lines and shapes. Once I've outlined and filled in where needed, I remove the stencil and use my tweezers to pluck any excess hairs outside the stenciled area. I try to do this every few days so they don't get out of control. I mean, we've all been there.
Eye Studio Master Shape Brow Pencil by Maybelline : As you can tell by the tiny little bit left, I love this pencil. Out of all the drugstore brow pencils I've tried, it's my absolute favorite. The color ((Deep Brown)) matches perfectly, plus it has a spoolie on the end to conveniently flip and brush through. After using my Anastasia powder, I'll go over any lines I need to darken with this pencil, and brush through to make sure it looks as natural as possible.
Finishing off with a swipe of brow gel, and voila. One day closer to fleek.
